Clean, spacious, and a little dated. However, enjoyed the kitchenette and sitting room. Free washing machine and dryer available. For an extended stay, it can't be beat.

I give this hotel four stars because of its location and price. It's not fancy at all. The room was old and in need of updating, but it didn't matter because I only needed a place to sleep as I was out all day, everyday. There were window unit air conditioners that were not properly sized for the rooms, but we weren't exactly sweating. It wasn't cool, it was cool enough. The room is actually an apartment with a kitchen (which we didn't use). Can't beat the location. It's right outside the gate to West Point. We paid $129 a night. Our friends paid $205 a night at a Holiday Inn a few mile away.
I have to come to realize that if you call yourself the "Best" or "5-star" in your title, you probably are not. This place is close to being a dump as far as I'm concerned. Running toilets, tub that you need a torque wrench for, broken appliances, no view (despite being on the Hudson) due to poor landscaping, and poor overall maintenance elsewhere. I expected so much more from a place that is located just off post from possibly one of the most beautiful campuses in the country.
Bruh why is it called 5 star if it’s 4 stars in 2017, I went to the Thayer hotel next door to this hotel. And Thayer is awesome
